And we have ANOTHER (the 3rd) WINNER!
April 30, 2012 By Luci Wilder Leave a Comment
Last night we drew the name of Sheryl (“aka Only Sister”) for the 3rd winner of a pair of our $80 sterling wrapped jigsaw puzzle earrings!
Don’t be left out! We have 8 more drawings, on the 29th of every month, in honor of Leap Year (we started February 29th – of course.) Once in always in, and if you enter more than once, you’re “in” more than once.
Here’s a picture of what they look like:
So, why delay? Just go to http://www.wilderbaubles.com/?p=299 follow the directions as to leaving a comment (that’s really ALL you need to do… there’s nothing to buy… ever! PS: That’s MY kind of giveaway!)
PLEASE, let me add your name to my bowl of names to be drawn from, next drawing is May 29th!
Interview with Dawn Sye of For Craft’s Sake
Dawn, thank you so much for your time, I do appreciate your willingness to talk with me and allow me to introduce my readers to you. For Craft's Sake is located at https://www.facebook.com/ForCraftsSake
Just a teaser of what Dawn has to say... "I am a stay at home mom of two girls that I virtual school. When you purchase handmade items, you are supporting people just like me…not a corporation. My aim to provide quality, unique and personalized items that you LOVE!"
Book Reviews…. Etsy Success by Kathleen Donovan
Subtitled: How to Make a Full-Time Income Selling Jewelry, Crafts, & Other Handmade Products Online
The number one thing I always do when tackling a new subject, activity, task... what have you is read up on it. I research it till I pretty well know all about it. This book is indispensable to me. It's got "stuff" in it that I haven't seen before.
This is another huge-little book as was last week's review of Crafty Superstar by Grace Dobush.
Kathleen adeptly covers all aspects of Etsy, from its early beginnings to today's benefits. She prepares you to do business on Etsy and how to set yourself up with a complete network. She talks about pricing and how to define yourself, your product, and your customer base.
Ms. Donovan, does an outstanding job of telling you (and me) what we need to do and how we need to do in order to succeed selling our wares on Etsy. And to succeed you need to market outside of Etsy! Both online and offline. She gives you lists and resources and ideas. She's given me a lot of pointers that I didn't know before. This book is absolutely a must read!
